I’m writing an academic article on y’all because, well, y’all are awesome. I’m specifically looking to talk to people who ship Disney princesses across different films, i.e. Arel/Moana, Ariel/Esmeralda, Mulan/Belle, etc. You will absolutely get to see the final piece. Black History Month & Femslash = Tiana gets all theladies.
A week ago February began. That day I realized not only was it black history month but also femslash February. So being a moderate Disney fan what did I think when I combined these 2 principles? “Tiana gets all the ladies”. Tiana’s one of my favorite Disney characters period so this month would be a appropriate time to focus on her. Since I write poetry (however badly) I would write a Tiana/[insert woman] poem every day.
Obviously we’re 2 weeks into February and I have 8 poems to share as of today. They’ll be grouped by week. They feature Tiana and whatever Disney woman I wanted. First are the Disney Princesses tm , then the other princesses (Eliowny was considered too young), other ‘90s women, and more current ones. The order might not be that exact but they’re all there.
Week 1:
1. Tiana/Snow White (haiku)
Baking gooseberry
Pies, beignets, and cherry pies
Ending with a kiss.
2. Tiana/Cinderella
(invented)
From a pair
of perfectly balanced plates
Intoxicating
aromas rise.
This
perfectly planned of dates
Has savory
cuisine and pies.

When walking through a park
It’s best to ignore the birds
